Home Again

Home Again’s Purpose

Home Again is a community service project started by Agents and Staff at Prudential Montana Real Estate, aimed at helping the homeless and others in need.

Home Again collects and warehouses furniture, beds, dressers, tables and other basic household necessities such as dishes and silverware, etc.  These items often come to us through the real estate transactions we facilitate.

Home Again serves the needs of homeless families and individuals who have been living at transitional housing facilities where furnishings and other household items are provided for them.  As they leave these facilities and transition back into mainstream traditional housing, often times they don’t have the basic items that make a house a home.   Home Again was created to fill this gap.

Home Again has established relationships with and serves the clients of the following community services:

The Poverello Center:  emergency homeless shelter and soup kitchen

The Joseph Residence:  transitional housing facility for homeless families with children

The Valor House:  transitional housing facility for homeless war veterans

The Uptown and The Palace Apts:  transitional housing facility for individuals

The Missoula Housing Authority:  assisted housing for over 1200 families in Missoula

The YWCA:  transitional housing for women with children in crisis

Guidelines for Donations to Home Again

 Most important rule:  NO JUNK!

If it’s broken, dirty, ripped, stained, rusty or doesn’t work, it probably belongs at the dump, not in the homes of the people we are trying to serve.

“Dated” is fine, but it needs to be in good condition.
